About React Tutorial

React Tutorial is an interactive online course for learning React, rewritten for React 19. It combines short lessons, coding challenges, and a browser-based practice environment with a test-driven setup that checks solutions against an official answer. Throughout the course, learners build a sample application called SuperM, an online supermarket shopping app that fetches products from an API, uses React Router for routing, and Context for authentication. Topics covered include JSX, components, props, state, hooks, closures, immutability, forms, the effect hook, Tanstack Query, Context, React Router, Suspense, React Server Components, and the client-server boundary.

The course is intended for developers who already have JavaScript experience; a companion course, Learn JavaScript, is offered for those who do not. A separate flashcards application is included alongside the course, covering 200+ cards using spaced repetition to reinforce concepts, with per-chapter review and progress streaks.

Access to the first 67 lessons, challenges, projects, and flashcards (the first 12 chapters) is free with no time limit. The remaining chapters require a Pro account, unlocked through a one-time payment that provides access for 5 years, rather than a subscription.
