Pythonlings is a terminal-based tool for learning Python by fixing small broken programs, modeled on Rustlings. It provides 292 exercises across 31 topics, with hidden checks that rerun automatically as the learner edits code, advancing them once a fix passes.

The tool includes a topic picker, progress tracking, a reset function, progressive hints, one-shot CLI commands, and a local documentation window linking back to the official Python documentation. Running `pythonlings init` creates a self-contained learner workspace for exercises.

It is published on PyPI as `pythonlings` and can be run via `uvx` without a permanent install, or installed with pipx, uv tool, or pip. It is intended for people learning Python through hands-on exercise-based practice.
