About Truelist

Truelist is an email validation platform that verifies email lists and single addresses to reduce bounce rates and protect sender reputation. It identifies invalid, inactive, disposable, and spam-trap emails, checks DNS/MX records, flags accept-all (catch-all) domains, and removes duplicates. For catch-all domains, it applies additional validation strategies combining SMTP checks, automated browser checks, and third-party APIs to resolve results that other tools leave as "unknown." Lists can be uploaded via CSV/XLS/XLSX (up to 10MB) or processed through a developer API, real-time API with webhooks, or a Chrome extension.

The platform offers integrations with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Zapier, Make, ConvertKit, and Clay.com, and provides a hosted MCP server for AI assistants (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code Copilot) to validate emails, manage batches, and query account/history data via OAuth rather than API keys. It uses fixed monthly pricing rather than a credit-based model, and offers unlimited free email validation. It reports SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance, TLS 1.2+ encryption, and GDPR compliance.

Truelist is aimed at SDRs and account executives doing cold outreach, email marketers running campaigns, and developers or automation specialists who need list verification through an API or integrated workflow. It was created by Grant Ammons, formerly head of engineering at ConvertKit, and Corey Haines, a startup marketing specialist.
