Tenon was an automated accessibility testing API, used for testing, monitoring, and reporting on the accessibility of websites and digital products against standards such as WCAG.
The service was shut down on August 7, 2023, when the API stopped responding to new requests and the Tenon.io site went offline. Accounts were deactivated automatically at shutdown, with a final invoice issued for any outstanding balance. Tenon's parent company, Level Access, directed former customers to its own digital accessibility platform as a continuation path for testing and monitoring.
