About PageGuard

PageGuard is a website health checker that scans a URL and returns scores for Performance, Accessibility, SEO, and Best Practices, using the Google PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse) data source. An AI layer translates the raw audit results into plain-English, prioritized action items, and each scan produces a shareable report link. Scans are read-only and do not require login or bypass authentication on the target site.

The free tier allows unsupported manual scans of one site with 7-day history and no signup. Paid plans add automated scanning, longer compliance-record retention, and email alerts: Starter at $9/mo (5 sites, weekly auto-scan, 30-day record), Pro at $29/mo (15 sites, daily auto-scan, 90-day record, email alerts plus weekly report, API access at 100 requests/day), and Agency at $79/mo (50 sites, daily auto-scan, 1-year record, custom email alerts, API access at 1000 requests/day). A REST API for programmatic scanning is available on the Pro and Agency plans.

The product is aimed at small businesses, web designers, and developers who want to audit their own or client/competitor sites for accessibility (including WCAG 2.1 AA), SEO, and performance issues, and to maintain a documented compliance record over time.
