TemplateFox is a PDF and image generation service built around visually designed templates. Users create templates in a drag-and-drop editor supporting dynamic data binding, headers and footers repeated across pages, tables that expand with data across multiple pages, and built-in QR code and barcode generation. Templates can then be rendered as PDFs or as images (PNG, JPEG, WebP) through the same design.

Generation is triggered via a REST API, client SDKs (with a TypeScript SDK available on GitHub), or no-code integrations including Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable, and Bubble. The API accepts JSON data mapped to a template and returns a URL to the generated file. Template content supports expressions and over 100 built-in functions for formatting dates, calculating totals, and rounding numbers, along with system variables like page number and page count.

The service includes a template library covering invoices, certificates, packing slips, shipping labels, social cards, and OG images, which can be customized with branding.
