Serpent API is a data API platform providing search engine results (SERP) data along with AI mention tracking, Google Maps business data, and social media scraping. It supports five search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, and Brave) for web, news, image, and video search results, returning organic listings, AI Overviews, People Also Ask, related searches, featured snippets, and ads in JSON format. A beta feature adds pixel position and geometry data for SERP elements across Google, Yahoo, Bing, and DuckDuckGo.

Beyond SERP data, the platform tracks brand citations and visibility across AI models including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, and offers social media data APIs covering YouTube search and analytics, Instagram profiles, and LinkedIn company, jobs, and profile data. It also provides Google Maps business data including ranked place search and reviews.

Pricing is pay-as-you-go across three tiers: a Default tier with no deposit, a Growth tier unlocked with a one-time $100 deposit, and a Scale tier unlocked with a one-time $500 deposit, each offering progressively lower per-request rates. New accounts receive 10 shared free calls on eligible endpoints without requiring a credit card. The product is accessed via a single API key and is aimed at developers building rank tracking, AI visibility monitoring, and search or social data enrichment workflows.
