About Juno

Juno is an open-source, full-stack SDK for building and deploying applications in WASM containers without managing infrastructure. It provides a bundled set of services including authentication (Google, GitHub, Passkeys, and Internet Identity), a key-value datastore, file storage with access control, static site and SPA/SSG hosting, serverless functions written in Rust or TypeScript, and privacy-friendly web analytics. Apps run on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), giving developers a decentralized alternative to traditional cloud providers.

The platform targets web developers who want to use their preferred frontend frameworks while offloading backend and DevOps concerns, including SvelteKit and other UI frameworks. Projects can be scaffolded via `npm create juno@latest`, and an SDK (`@junobuild/core`) exposes functions for authentication flows such as sign-in, sign-out, and session state subscription. A CLI supports CI integration, and skills for AI coding agents can be installed via `npx skills add junobuild/skills`.

The project is noted as being in maintenance mode and not actively developed.
