About JavaScript30

JavaScript30 is a free 30-day coding challenge that teaches vanilla JavaScript through 30 short project-based tutorials. Each day covers a different browser-based project built without frameworks, compilers, libraries, or boilerplate, using only HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Access includes video lessons for all 30 days at once, starter files, and completed HTML/CSS/JS solutions for each project; videos include closed captions.

The course is created and taught by Wes Bos, a Full Stack Developer and course creator based in Canada, co-host of the Syntax podcast, and author of other paid courses including React For Beginners, Advanced React and GraphQL, ES6 for Everyone, and Learn Node. Topics covered across the 30 days include DOM manipulation, CSS integration, array methods, canvas, audio/video APIs, geolocation, speech recognition and synthesis, local storage, event handling, and drag/scroll interactions.

The course is aimed at beginner-to-intermediate developers and designers who already know some JavaScript fundamentals and want practice working directly with the DOM and browser APIs without relying on frameworks or libraries; it is not intended as an introductory JavaScript 101 course.
