GenDesigns is an AI tool for designing mobile app user interfaces from text descriptions. Users describe an app idea in plain language and the tool generates mobile app screens, which can then be revised through natural-language edits (for example, changing header size or color palette) and expanded into theme variations such as dark mode, light mode, or custom brand colors.

The tool includes a library of community-submitted app designs and templates covering categories like fitness, e-commerce, social media, fintech, dating, food delivery, travel, real estate, education, healthcare, and productivity apps. Completed designs can be exported as React and Tailwind code.

GenDesigns is aimed at people building mobile apps without design tools or design skills, including founders, non-designers, and product managers, as an alternative to manual UI design in tools like Figma.
