ACTVT is a macOS menu bar application that provides system monitoring alongside observability for AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex. It tracks CPU, GPU, memory, and network activity in real time, monitors open ports, and exposes these system, port, and session tools to agents through an MCP server. The app also records agent session history, including transcripts, costs, and error patterns, and can send notifications when a session is waiting for input, has finished, or has errored, as well as alerts for usage-limit resets and system thermal conditions.

The application supports following agent sessions running on other Macs or Linux machines over SSH, with Tailscale peer auto-discovery and no daemon or cloud dependency required. It includes usage meters for Claude session, weekly, and monthly limits with reset countdowns, accessible via a keyboard shortcut. The interface is available in English, French, and German, with light and dark themes, and includes on-device PII detection.

ACTVT is aimed at developers who use AI coding agents like Claude Code and Codex on a Mac and want visibility into both hardware performance and agent activity. It is distributed for Apple Silicon and offers three tiers: a free plan with basic monitoring and 72-hour agent session history, a $9.99 one-time purchase plan (Basic) adding remote sessions and 30-day session history, and a Premium plan at $7.99/month (billed annually) adding unlimited session history, an agent metrics and spend dashboard, Claude and Codex plan usage meters, and GPU menu bar tracking.
