Achromatic is a Next.js SaaS starter kit that provides a production-grade codebase for building software-as-a-service applications. It is built on a TypeScript stack including Next.js, React, shadcn/ui, Tailwind CSS, tRPC, Better Auth, and offers a choice between Prisma or Drizzle for database access. The kit includes authentication (email/password, Google OAuth, two-factor authentication via TOTP, session management), Stripe billing for subscriptions and one-time payments, usage-based credit packs, and organization support with invitations, membership roles, and switching.

The kit also includes an admin panel for managing users, organizations, subscriptions, and credit balances, an AI chatbot interface built with the Vercel AI SDK featuring streaming responses, and file storage with S3-compatible presigned uploads. Marketing and legal pages (pricing, blog, documentation via Fumadocs, contact, privacy, terms, cookies) are included, along with transactional email templates built with Resend and React Email, error monitoring via Sentry, structured logging with Pino, and analytics tracking through Vercel.
